Message	This brings lubrication to the cylinders. Lifters fill with oil and allow valves to open fully for proper airflow. It allows metals to expand to proper operating clearances. If the engine has been sitting for a while all the oil has weeped from the galleries and bearings leaving only a residual amount of protection from running dry. A few other etc.'s that I don't remember... wait until you get it together.
